Mundane Savings Advice

The best advice I've received is often mundane.

Simple.

Straight to the point.

Does not beat around the bush.

Like saving 12 months of expenses as the first thing to do when you first get a job.

It allows you to have screw you money in case anything happens to your income.

Many people don't even have that.

Sounds so simple.

But most often overlooked.

This is one of the core reasons why I started tracking all my money:

To know how many months of cash I have with my current expenses.

And my tracker tracks these numbers automatically.

All I do is input my numbers every week for a few minutes.

Quite powerful.

But mundane nonetheless.
